Delivered to Trans Canada Airlines May 1957, CF-THI stored at Winnipeg, MB in February 1969. In preparation for donation to the National Aeronautical Collection (now renamed Canada Aviation and Space Museum), the Viscount was flown to Montreal via Toronto. Restored to two class 40 seat configuration and repainted in TCA colors by Air Canada, it was flown for the last time to Rockliffe on November 16, 1969. Stored outside until 2006, restoration was not possible in the new storage area, so conservation was carried out to clean up the weathered aircraft to await restoration.

This Twin Otter was De Havilland Canada's demonstrator with the appropriate registration from roll out June 1976 to January 1977. Delivered to Northern Thunderbird in Febuary 1977, the aircraft was sold to Aklak Air in September 1985. It's still current with Aklak Air at the time of uploading, althought it's been registered to Kenn Borek Air since 1994. The two airrlines entered into an agreement where Aklak could draw from Borek's fleet as demand shifted during seasonal flying.

The last artifact of the sole Avro Jetliner. The purpose designed airliner's first flight was just 13 days after the DeHavilland Comet on August 10, 1949. Development of the aircraft was ordered stopped by the government in December 1951 in order to concentrate on the company's CF-100 all weather fighter. Used by Avro assisting other aircraft development until 1956, it was donated to the National Research Council. With no room to store the aircraft, it was scrapped but the forward fuselage was saved.

Harbour Air bought this Otter in June 1991 to replace another aircraft that had crashed a month earlier. On a flight in September 1991, a cylinder head cracked in the Pratt & Whitney R-1340 radial engine. Over the winter the aircraft was converted to turbine power with a Vazar kit, becoming the airline's first Turbo Otter.

First flight March 20, 1982, this 737 was officially delivered to Monarch six days later. It's pictured at Luton after returning from a lease to Pacific Western Airlines (who leased it for the winters of 1983, 84 and 85).

After World War II, the US Air Force stored this C-46 in 1946. Sold to Flying Tiger Line in 1950, the Commando flew passengers and freight for the next 38 years. In 1988, however, the aircraft was seized by US Marshalls for allegedly running guns. It was later turned over to the Smithsonian Institution and placed on permanent loan to the National Warplane Museum. On loan to the Glen H Curtiss Museum since around 2001, it's located at the entrance to the museum in Hammondsport, NY.

Formerly T-01 and T-02 with the Fuerza Aerea Argentina, Austin Airways acquired C-GQWO in 1979. Austin was merged into Air Ontario in 1989 and this aircraft was sold to Air Creebec in March 1989. Converted to an unpressurized freighter in 1998, it hauled fuel to northern communities. The registration was cancelled in Feb 2012 after it the freighter was donated to the Canadian military for training.

A-26C 44-35752 was delivered in 1945, but too late to see action in WWII. Retired by the Air Force in 1958, the bomber was purchased by Rock Island Oil & Refining Co in 1960 and registered N8627E. By 1963 it had been converted to a fire bomber and was sold to Kenting Aviation in 1972 as CF-KBZ. Added to Conair's fleet in August 1973, it flew another 15 years fighting fires in British Columbia. Sold in 1988 to Canadian Warplane Heritage as A-26s were replaced by Firecats, the warbird was again sold in the USA as N81797. It was donated to the Carolinas Aviation Museum Charlotte, NC in 2006.
