After touching down on Lac La Ronge, gliding in to the Transwest Air base on the shore to tie up for the night. The crewman is poised on the float to pass the mooring rope to a colleague deckhand who is waiting at the end of the landing stage. Delivered new to the Union of Burma Air Force in 1958 as UB651. Given a Vazar conversion to PT-6 turbine power by Aerolite Industries at Vancouver in 1990 and then served with Athabasca Airways at La Ronge. Joined the fleet of the newly formed Transwest Air in 2000.

The crewman is poised on the float to pass the mooring rope to a colleague deckhand who is waiting at the end of the landing stage. Delivered new to the Union of Burma Air Force in 1958 as UB651. Given a Vazar conversion to PT-6 turbine power by Aerolite Industries at Vancouver in 1990 and then served with Athabasca Airways at La Ronge. Joined the fleet of the newly formed Transwest Air in 2000.

Setting out from its home base for an upcountry trip. Has flown with Leuenberger for over forty-five years. Taken on charge new by the US Army in 1956 as 55-3310. Saw military service in West Germany and Vietnam before being put into storage in 1969. Joined Leuenberger in 1976. Converted to a Vazar Turbine Otter with PT-6 power over the winter of 2003-04. Continued thereafter to fly in support of the clients of Leuenberger's Fly-In Lodge and Wilderness Outposts.

Delivered new to Qantas Empire Airways in 1958, transferring to TAA (Trans Australia Airlines) in 1960; operated for both on wheels in Papua New Guinea. Exported to Canada in 1969 initially as CF-YLZ, becoming C-FYLZ in 1983. Joined the associated companies Mattice Lake Outfitters and Wabakimi Air at Armstrong, Ontario in 2006 following conversion to Walter 601 turbine power at Silver Falls, Manitoba. After a landing accident involving a submerged rock, refurbished by Recon Air and repainted in this striking black and white scheme for 2013.

After landing on Red Lake, returning to Chimo's base dock on Howey Bay. Delivered new to the Province of Ontario in 1956 and served until 1984. Joined Chimo Air Service at Red Lake in 1997. Early in 2010 converted to a Vazar PT-6 powered Turbine Otter by Lakelands Aviation at Fort Frances, Ontario and returned to Chimo's fleet at Red Lake. Sold to Superior Airways in 2018, still at Red Lake. Suffered significant but salvageable storm damage while moored at its Red Lake dock in the autumn of 2019.
