Written off in 1991, when operating for Intercontinental de Aviacion. Now preserved in the family park run by Comfama in the city of Rionegro in Antioquia, about one hour east of the city of Medellin. Registration is not painted on the airplane in this colourscheme.
Originally delivered to CAAC and registered as "412" this was the very last Viscount to be delivered. The aircraft suffered a landing incident on 26 September 1994 and after some repairs were carried out it sat in open storage before being scrapped Circa 2001.
A very welcome visitor to Brisbane on the way to New Zealand where it would be registered ZK-SKY. Unfortunately the great plans for this aircraft failed to eventuate and it eventually returned to the U.K. for many years before being scrapped at Southend in March 1991.
