Lockwood Survey was formed in 1946 as the Photographic Survey Company with financing from Britain's Sir Percy Hunting. Renamed Hunting Survey Corporation 1956 - 65 before the Lockwood name came about, this Cessna 310 was used for survey and mapping from 1965. After another name change to Northway Survey Corporation in 1972, C-FRYZ was sold in 1984 to another small survey company Aquarius Flight Inc. It remained in Canada with later private owners until 2015 when it went to the USA as N302SK.

Built as a Hudson for the Canadian air force. Converted to a Hamilton Lodestar in 1957. The Lockheed 18/Lodestar was a stretched Lockheed 14/Hudson and that is what a Hamilton Lodestar was . In 1966, CF-CPL was converted into a Howard 250. Sold in the US as N19PA in 1971. Peter Keating photo

Pictured during a time before the domestic fleet were adorned with names, C-GCPB would later be christened "Empress of Los Angeles".

Built as an A.O.P. Mk. VI and given the RAF serial VP630 for flight testing. Sent to Canada for reassembly by MacDonald Brothers Aircraft Ltd and delivered to the RCAF March 12,1948. Sold to Sigurdson Aviation Ltd for civil conversion, it was registered CF-NQC as a Beagle A.61 in May 1963. Still on the Canadian register (as C-FNQC) with the Saskatchewan Aviation Historical Society, but available for sale at the time of uploading.

Delivered to Republic Airlines February 26, 1981, this 727 remained with Northwest Airlines after the two carriers merged in 1986. The aircraft next went to Champion Air as N683CA in December 1999. Champion ceased flying in 2008 and it was acquired by CSDS Aircraft Sales & Leasing until the registration expired in 2012 and it was broken up at Miami - Opa-locka Executive airport.

Originally delivered to Singapore Airlines as 9V-SQI in August 1979, Olympic Flame was registered to Olympic Airways in April 1985. The airliner was withdrawn from service in 2000 and stored at Bruntingthorpe UK. Quickly losing it's engines, the aircraft became derelict before broken up in 2020.

Built in 1954 and registered N3618B in 1963, G-GWSV from 1975 and N118SA from 1994, still current in 2020

First registered CF-LFT in 1959. Damaged in an accident at Ottawa in February 1979 and repaired. Registration CF-PER cancelled in 1983, the aircraft becoming a ground instructional airframe at Scarborough, ON. Moved to National Air Force Museum of Canada, Trenton AB in around 2018

Working in United Airlines' fleet February 1974 - 94, N1821 was withdrawn with several early DC-10s and stored. Bought by Federal Express in 1997 as Boeing was developing the MD-10 conversion that upgraded avionics and systems more in line with the MD-11 and reduced the crew requirement to two pilots. This aircraft was the first conversion to fly and was re-delivered to Fed Ex as N386FE in March 1999 and converted to a freighter. It was stored at Victorville, CA in 2013.

Delivered to Air Canada April 9, 1970, C-FTMR wears it's fleet number on the fuselage next to the registration (the usual location was on the vertical fin). The aircraft was sold New York Air as N556NY in January 1981. Merged into Continental Air Lines in February 1991, it was substantially damaged and written off after landing with the gear retracted at Houston-Intercontinental Airport, TX on February 1996.

Citicorp owned 747 leased to Air France in 1976 as N40116. The aircraft was painted in updated Air France colors circa 1980 and re-registered F-BPVQ in 1983. Returned to the lessor in 1991 and stored at Marana as N174GM. Aviation Leasing Group bought the 747 and arranged short leases to Okada Air (5N-GAB January - May 1995) and TWA (N129TW June 1996 - January 1997). It was returned to Marana where it remains stored at the time of uploading.
