Lancaster KB848 was a Canadian-built Mark X bomber, delivered to the UK in January 1945 and assigned to RCAF's 428 Squadron. It did not fly combat missions and was returned to Canada in May 1945. In the 1950s, it was converted to a Mk.10 DC and used for Ryan Firebee drone trials. The cockpit section is preserved and on display at the Museum.

The largest surviving piece of an Avro Arrow: nose section of RL-206, the first Mk 2 Arrow. When the aircraft was disassembled after 1959, this piece was saved for use as a pressure chamber at the Institute of Aviation Medicine in Toronto. The Institute donated the nose section to the Museum in 1965.

The largest surviving piece of an Avro Arrow: nose section of RL-206, the first Mk 2 Arrow. When the aircraft was disassembled after 1959, this piece was saved for use as a pressure chamber at the Institute of Aviation Medicine in Toronto. The Institute donated the nose section to the Museum in 1965.

Built in 1953 by McDonnell Aircraft Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri. This aircraft served in the U.S. Navy at naval stations in Florida and Virginia, and on three aircraft carriers. The Royal Canadian Navy acquired this Banshee in 1957. It served alternately at shore base HMCS Shearwater and the HMCS Bonaventure aircraft carrier. It was also used as part of the Royal Canadian Navy's aerobatic team, the Grey Ghosts. The aircraft was withdrawn from service in 1962.
