Thank you for your interest in AirHistory.net, the Aviation History Photo Archive.

Membership is free for people who wish to upload photos to the archive. There are no other members-only benefits.

If you are considering joining AirHistory.net, it is important to understand how we operate and maintain our historic archive. We refer you to our Which Photos to Upload and How to Upload your Photos guides. Please read these to make sure AirHistory.net meets your needs.

AirHistory.net very much welcomes applications from people who wish to contribute new photographic material to our historic archive. We especially want to hear from those who want to help expand the archive, particularly, but not exclusively, with photos taken before 2000 or from parts of the world less well covered such as Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Central and South America.

If you would like to join, please go to our Contact page and select "Apply for membership" from the menu. In your message please briefly tell us a little something about yourself and your connection to aviation photography, and about the photos you intend to upload. If an existing member has recommended AirHistory.net, please let us know. We value our members’ views and the opportunity to tap into their networks of friends and like-minded aviation enthusiasts.

One of the aims of AirHistory.net is to help preserve collections of aviation photos that are at risk of being lost to time. Your photos will become available to future enthusiasts, historians and researchers in a database that is fully searchable and sortable.

If wish to contact us for other reasons, you can do so by going to our Contact page.
