1944: Constructed as a VC-54C using a C-54A fuselage mated to modified C-54B wings. VIP interior included an elevator at the rear of the aircraft for President Roosevelt and his wheel chair. It also had bullet-proof picture windows. By Jun 44: TOS USAAF, assigned to the 503rd Army Air Force Base Unit, Bolling Field, DC. 21 Jan 45: Departed Washington, DC for its participation in movement of personnel for the Yalta Conference. For security reasons, it was marked with a serial number of a C-54 which was lost in the Pacific (42-72252).

Taussig (DE-1030) seems to be moored there and the ship's history indicates that she served as a school ship at Key West from January to July 1966. First flight 1942. Aircraft was ex 492 of the Royal Canadian Air Force, and ex R-AK of the Norwegian Air Force. August 19th 1957 LN-BDR Fjellfly. October 3rd 1972 cancelled, WFU and sold to Sweden for parts. I was very surpriced as I found it at a small Swedish Air Museum while we were at vacation in Sweden. November 1994 it was taken over by Sola Air Museum, and they got it from Sweden whilie it was under restauration for exhibition. It is now part of the Sola Air Museum

Arrived at MASDC in March 1976 after retirement from South Vietnamese AF service, the 'GE' tailcode of Tan Son Nhut based 427 Transport Squadron still visible on the tail. Registered as N92NC in 1990 but NTU and taken from storage to the Western International scrapyard in June 1988 where it languished for several years before being moved again to the Pima Museum storage yard in October 2020, reportedly for use as spares. Another C-7B 62-4193 c/n 138 is displayed inside the museum as '62-4150'.

Delivered to Trans Canada AL as CF-TKB in December 1960 and transferred to Air Canada when TCAL was renamed on 1st June 1964. It was re-registered as G-AYFN to Air Holdings in June 1970, leased to Thor Air Cargo as TF-YES in March 1971 but restored as G-AYFN in October 1971. Sold to Air Trader Sweden AB in December 1971 it returned as G-AYFN in March 1973. Sold to Invicta International in October 1973 it served until September 1975 when bought by Europe Aero Service as F-BXAJ. It flew its last service on July 27, 1979 and withdrawn from use at Perpignan and was last noted in one piece in 1985.
