This pristine aircraft was photographed on display at the Midland Air Museum. This aircraft has had an interesting history, briefly serving as the personal aircraft for an Indian maharaja (as VT-CEH) in 1947, but soon becoming G-ALCU the next year. Now painted to represent an executive aircraft for Dunlop.
This beauty was registered to Airwork as G-AMEI in 1950. Sold to Miriam Alexandrine de Rothschild as HB-LAR in 1951. Later to Balair. Became D-IKUR in December 1968. Reported as stored here at EDLZ in 2005. Apparently flying again by 2009.
