Throughout the late 1950s and early 1960s the EC-121s of VW-11 and VW-13 were regular visitors to Prestwick operating as part of BARLANT (Atlantic Barrier) extension of the Dew (Distant Early Warning) Line, a system of radar stations which spanned the northern Arctic from Alaska to Iceland.

Ex USAAF 43-15634 and purchased by Air France in January 1947. Rousseau Aviation initially leased the aircraft from Air France in 1963 and bought it in October 1964. Seen wearing an adapted Air France livery before re-painting into Rousseau's own colours. It went on to fly with TAT and Uni Air before being withdrawn at Toulouse (LFBO/TLS) in May 1976 and was scrapped there in 1978.

Built as P3V-1, re-designated P-3A in August 1962. On detachment from Patuxent River.

Built by the Foster Wikner Aircraft Company and first flown from Eastleigh in October 1938. Restored to fly in the early 2000s after many years in storage.

Built 1946, to the RAF High Speed Flight and set a new World Speed Record of 615.78 mph 07/09/46 . Allocated 7008M in 1953. On gate guard duties at RAF Innsworth March 1961 to April 1967 before joining the RAF Museum following restoration, in 1971. Loaned to the Military Aviation Museum, at Tangmere, W Sussex in September 1992 and current there at time of upload.

Escadrille 23S aircraft. Struck off charge in 1966.

Official Lufthansa photo C63-177. Original caption (translated) reads: "Early December the first Lufthansa Boeing 727 will be painted, which is under final assembly as the picture shows. Next spring Lufthansa will take delivery of the first 6 out of a total of 12 aircraft". Delivered 22 February 1964. Sold 1974 as N68649, FAA N77 1975, reregistered N97 1987 and N46 1991. Withdrawn Atlantic City, NJ and cancelled 1994, still present 2020 used for training by Federal Air Marshalls. The two KC-135A's in the background are 63-8005 and 63-8007, the latter one still being active as KC-135R in 2022.

This aircraft was used by Group Captain A F (Sandy) MacDougall as transport for his job as De Havilland Regional Manager (Central & South America) for . Also it was a demonstrator for the type.

The Jodel in the background is VH-CYS, the only other D9 flying in eastern Australia at the time.
