The Orion was upgraded with CASA EADS from late 2010 and returned to service in late 2013 or early 2014. The Maritime Patrol Aircraft was withdrawn from service and stored at Cuatro Vientos from 14 November 2017. It is most probably awaiting preservation at Maestranza museum.
