Former US Air Force 44-35444 had a long military career. It served out World War II and in Korea from 1955 - 1953. Transferred to the Republic of China (Taiwan) to fly low level reconnaissance with Black Bat 34th Squadron until 1969. Returned to the USA as N7656C, the bomber came to Canada with Air Spray in 1971. Converted to a fire bomber, it was with Air Spray until 2006. Sold to the Classic Aircraft Aviation Museum, Hillsboro, OR for restoration and display, the aircraft was traded to Taiwan in 2012. It is displayed at the Air Force Museum next to the RoCAF Academy in Kangshan, Taiwan.

Delivered April 10, 1981 to Pacific Western Airlines and merged with CP Air in 1987 to form Canadian Airlines. Still in interim color scheme here, Air Canada would withdraw it at the end of 2002 after taking over Canadian. It unfortunately crashed in the Congo with Bako Air (TL-ADM) April 30, 2009 on a ferry flight.

The aircraft underwent a Basler turbo conversion in 1991 and was re-registered N142Z. Sold to Ken Borek Air as C-GKKB in March 2013, it's current with North Star Air at the time of uploading.

Photographed with Wien Air Alaska who would use it until they ceased operations in 1983, it would move to United Airlines and later be registered N983UA. Withdrawn and stored at Victorville, CA before being sold to Star Peru as OB-1800-P in March 2005. In July 2007 it would go to Atlantic Airlines of Honduras, becoming HR-AUI before finally stored at La Ceiba, Honduras.
