This An-2 flew from October 1972 as HA-ANI for the Hunagrian Defence Force. in conjuction with the Hugarian AF on radio detection duty. From October 1990 it was operated by Magyar Repülö Szöv and then Tessel Air but now sits engineless on the ramp at LHKV.

Visited Duxford from the Netherlands, joined up with two other Beechcraft D-17S.

Qantas sold this aircraft in 1953. It crashed at Tingalpa, Queensland, on October 24, 1954. Two of the three people on board were killed. Ironically, the flight was to scatter the ashes of a deceased neighbour. The ship in the photo is the Tenyo Maru, sunk during World War II when the Japanese occupied Lae. Re-manufactured in by Beech from AT-11 Kansan 42-37152 to become C-45H 52-10701 in 1954. To N9823Z from 1961 to 1965 and modified by Pac Aero to Tri Gear configuration in 1962. Flown by Sierra Pacific Airlines from 1965 until 1968 and re-registered N256RA in 1969. Subsequently passed through several owners before being impounded in Colombia circa 1988 and later allocated the military serial FAC5579. Displayed for many years at various locations around Madrid Air Force Base but by 2019 was dumped on the north side of the base. ln the storage area of the FAC museum in Parque Jaime Duque in Bogota by Mar 2024.
