Originally built for Braathens SAFE as LN-SUD in 1952 and first registered in the UK to Manx Airlines in 1957 then Silver City
. It later flew with Overseas Air Transport, as here, and Mercury Airlines before export to Sierra Leone as 9L-LAL in 1968. Restored to the UK in April 1975 and exported as ZK-EJM in September 1976. On 9 May 1977 it was damaged beyond repair while landing at Ardmore (NZAR).
