The one and only Canadair C-5, like most Canadian built DC-4, was pressurised but uniquely powered by Pratt and Whitney R-2800 radials engines as used on the DC-6. The RR Merlin engines of all other Canadair-built DC-4s resulted in very high cabin noise and the C-5 was always intended as a VIP aircraft. Built for Trans Australia Airlines as VH-TAD in 1946 and here possibly on an immigrant charter judging by the crowd. In 1963 it went to Trans Atlantic Airlines as N6531D and scrapped at Delhi (Palam) circa 1965. [I love how these one-horse airlines (of which no trace can be found) have such overblown names to draw in the punters.]
