The second production F6U Pirate was rescued from the New Mexico desert where it was relegated to weapons testing as a target. Restored by the volunteers of the Vought Aircraft Heritage Foundation, the early jet joined the National Naval Aviation Museum collection in 2012.

While still current on the US register, this C-54 has been stored at Kingman since 2006.

Former Fiji Airways VQ-FBK / Air Pacific DQ-FBK, this 1969 HS-748 was bought by Bradley Air Services (First Air) in 1980. Retired in 2003, the aircraft was sold to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for for anti terrorist training.

This 1969 built Jet Ranger was with Transport Canada from 1969 to 2012. Photographed while in Canadian Coast Guard service, the helicopter was later upgraded to 206B configuration and is still current on the Canadian register as C-FNRR at the time of uploading.

Former N3069K was built in 1987. Brought to Canada in 1997 by North Cariboo Flying Service and flown as C-GNPG until March 25, 2010. Sold to Pacific Coastal on that day, it was re-registered C-GCPZ and is still current at the time of uploading.

This Tweet is on a cross country flight. It later became a part of the National Museum of the United States Air Force static display program and is on loan to Sheppard AFB, where it is displayed on a pedestal.

Looking great for its age, this is the third of 195 Blue Canoes operated by the USAF.

Originally 44-73973, this Mustang went to the RCAF on January 23, 1951. Sold as N6325T in February 1957. Rebuilt in Chelan, WA during 1976 - 1977 and delivered to Canada as N51JC January 1978. Re-registered as C-GJCJ in November 1979, but sold to the USA in 1983 when it reverted to N51JC.

Photographed early in it's life, this DC-10 was delivered to United in August 1975. Withdrawn from the fleet September 1998, it was converted to a freighter in January 1999 for FedEx. Upgraded to a MD-10F in 2006, the classic wide body was put in storage January 2014.

Airbus Helicopters second prototype H160 began a North American Demonstration Tour after display at HAI Heli-Expo 2018 in Las Vegas, NV.

Delivered October 18, 1966, this was Pilgrim Airlines' first Twin Otter. One of 15 either purchased, leased or acquired in the merger with Newair in 1985. Pilgrim was itself bought by Business Express Airlines and merged in February 1986. The Twin Otters were retired with N121PM being withdrawn in March. Sold in 1986, the aircraft has been flying for Skydiving schools ever since.

Delivered to Pacific Western Airlines February 28, 1979, this 737 would continue to fly with Canadian Airlines and Air Canada until retired. It was donated to the Alberta Aviation Museum and displayed at Edmonton's downtown City Center airport in 1970 Pacific Western Airlines colors. When the city closed the airport, the aircraft made one more flight in 2013 to near by Villeneuve Airport to be stored.

Delivered to the RCAF October 31, 1960, this Otter was sold by auction in 1982 through Crown Assets Disposal Corporation after retirement. Having a Vazar turbine conversion by Viking Air in 2001, the aircraft is currently C-FJHA with Harbour Air (since 2007) at the time of uploading.

CP Air's fourth DC-8-63, delivered June 16, 1968 and leased right away to Flying Tigers for a year (N624FT). Skybus service was a part of the 1970s fare wars with Air Canada on weekly flights from Toronto to Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary. The aircraft was stored is Las Vegas in late 1982 until sold to Worldways Canada in early 1983. Registered to Aerolease Financial Group as N782AL December 28, 1990 and converted to a freighter. Leased to Air Transport International, the freighter crashed on a second take-off attempting a three engine ferry flight on February 16, 1995.

This Luxuryliner was delivered to American Airlines October 8, 1970. The aircraft was a movie star when it appeared in the film Airport 77. Leased to Braniff Airlines for one month (October to November) in 1978 to start their new Hawaii service. Finally sold to Citicorp Leasing in May 1984, it would see service with National, Air Afrique, Iran Air, Cargolux and then bought by United Airlines in January 1988. The classic jumbo was retired on September 1999 and stored at Las Vegas, NV. Ferried to Greenwood, MS early in 200, the classic 747 was parted out over the next two years, then scrapped.

This 727 is back in familiar territory as it was delivered to CP Air as CF-CUR on March 10, 1971. Traded back to Boeing in March 1977, it was leased for a time to Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano as CP-1339. Returned, the airliner became a biz jet for cosmetics giant Revlon as N767RV in October 1978. At the time of uploading, the aircraft is flying with winglets owned by American businessman and classical music composer Gordon Getty and his wife Ann.

This last Canadair Silver Star for the RCAF was taken on strength March 24, 1958 serialed 21656. Re-numbered in November 1970, it also performed the last CAF T-33 flight in May 2005 when it was ferried to Mountain View, ON for storage.
