Delivered to Pacific Northern Airlines March 23, 1962 as N720V, this 720 undoubtedly spent much of it's career flying to Alaska. PNA merged with Western Airlines in June 1967 and sold the airliner to Alaska Airlines in April 1973. Re-registered N301AS three months later, it was finally traded to Pan American Airways as part trade for 727s in July 1975. The aircraft was flown to Miami for storage and used by several brokers for parts until broken up in 1984.

Owned by California Flight Partners after November 1984, this Jetstream would be leased to Pacific Coast Airlines. I don't believe it ever entered airline service but used instead for parts. It was noted stored at Santa Barbara, CA without engines circa 1988. The registration was cancelled in 2014.

Bell OH-58A 68-16830 was upgraded to an OH-58C. With a more powerful engine, the early OH-58Cs also had flat windscreen panels. It was to reduce reflections on the battlefield that may give away it's position, the flat panels were found it restricted forward vision compared to the standard curved windscreen. This aircraft is on the US civil aviation registry as N76KP to Northwest Helicopters but is displayed unmarked.

When the US Air Force visited Avro Canada in 1953 to look at the all weather CF-100 fighter, a "special projects group" showed them plans for a circular disk-shaped aircraft known as Project Y-2. The USAF agreed to fund the project that resulted in two Avrocar test vehicles. Control problems with the aircraft out of ground effect couldn't be overcome and the project was cancelled in 1961. Pictured is the first Avrocar (58-7055 ) that went to the Air Force. The second (59-4975) is in the collection of the US Army Aviation Museum.

This first DC-10 built for KLM was the second one delivered to the airline March 15, 1974. As the DC-10-30 prototype, McDonnell Douglas utilized the aircraft from it's first flight on June 21, 1972 for developing and demonstrating the longer range International version of the DC-10. A short lease to African Safari Airways in June 1994 preceded the aircraft's return to McDonnell Douglas (N525MD). Later with Krasnoyarsk Airlines until sold to Continental Airlines in October 1997 as N2089, it was stored at Greenwood, MS in April 2001 and broken up.
