Economic pressures forced the airline seek court protection in 1992, but the it halted operations in 1994. Recently sold to Athabaska Airways (via Bannock Aerospace), the aircraft is pictured outside Aircraft Refinishing's hangar about to get new paint. Sold in 1986, it was leased to Isleña Airlines (HR-AKN) 1986 - 90 and AerolÃneas Sosa (HR-ALS) 1990 - 92. Returned to the US lessor, it's flying days were over, providing wings and a major fuselage section to rebuild two other Twin Otters.

Grounded with the bankruptcy of GNA in 1970, the aircraft was used as a source of parts by Northward Airlines until donated to the Yukon Flying Club in 1977. Originally delivered to Turkish Airlines in July 1973 (TC-JAS), , it was one of several Turkish F-28s bought by TAT Transport Aerien Transregional in 1987. The lease was cut short (December 1988 - July 1989) after the crash of Air Ontario's other F-28 (C-FONF) at Dryden, ON on March 10, 1989.
