"ACES 01" F-4G departs during exercise 'Longshot 93'

On final as FLANKER, VF-142 was part of the aggressor team for Longshot 93' at Nellis

Using the callsign OPUS VF-143 along with sister squadron -142 formed part of the aggressor force for exercise Longshot at Nellis. Aircraft flew in from their home stations on Thursday after attacks in the ranges then left for home 2 days later.

This Dash 8 was delivered to Air Ontario June 18, 1987 and occasionally leased to fellow Air Canada Commuter Air Alliance until Air Canada Regional / Jazz was formed in 2002. It's pictured during a rare (and short) sub-lease from Air Alliance to competitor Air Atlantic from May through July 1993 as the only exception. Air Canada Express withdrew aircraft from service in 2016.

The serial painted on the tail is A.9-066 and not AR.9-066 (as it should be). The aircraft was still flying within ALA 23 (but with ALA 21 markings) and later became 23-31
