This former DC-8-61 was delivered to United in May 1968. It's pictured shortly after a conversion to a CFM-56 powered DC-8-71 in July 1982. That and a later freighter conversion extended it's operational life to 2012 when it was retired by Air Transport International (N830BX) and stored at Mojave, CA.
