"St Brighid" had burst her port offside tyre on landing from Schiphol. After off-loading passengers on the runway and removal of the wheel, she is towed to the main apron for repair before departure to Dublin Collinstown. EI-AFW is in the initial all-metallic scheme and served EI from March 1954 until January 1960.

This photo goes a long way to explaining the appeal of the old Kemayoran airport - it had it all for the propliner enthusiast, here with a little added glamour too. This Viscount spent nearly all of its life on the other side of the world, first with Ansett in 3.59 then FEAT from 4.70. Mandala bought her in 5.76 and she was eventually scrapped at CGK in the early 2000's

This Viscount was a very rare visitor to the UK during its short time with this German company, but previously a common one as EI-AKL with Aer Lingus, first being delivered in 3.59. To D-ADAM 3.70 but repossessed a few weeks after this shot and stored at Dublin until bought by the Sultan of Oman's AF. Later to Scibe as 9Q-CBS and MMM as 9Q-CAN. Wfu Kinshasa 11.84 and broken up some time later
