Originally with serial 26046, this Tutor is practically a billboard of markings compared to the average CT-114. 429 Transport Squadron crest on the nose (like the T-33 behind), Instrument Check Pilot badge on the rudder and a couple of spider zaps by the intake and on the rudder. The latter were probably a gift from 421st Fighter Sqn "Black Widows" at Hill Air Force Base , Utah. The trainer served with the Snowbirds aerobatic team during the 1989 - 1993 seasons before it was stored. It later became a Category A training aid at CFB Borden, ON where I believe it remains.

Douglas Aircraft at Oklahoma City built the majority of the C-47s and the plant is still in USAF use at Tinker AFB. This Oklahoma City Dakota served with the RAF in WWII before transferring to the RCAF in 1946, keeping the RAF serial KG623. In 1970, the RCAF's serial system was re-organized and it was assigned 12933. Pictured running up on the Air Force side of the airport, it's was colder than it looks. The aircraft is current with Kenn Borek Air as Basler BT-67 Turbo-67 C-GJKB at the time of uploading.

From the 1970s and well into the 1990s, before the advent of low-fare airlines, Luton, Stansted, and Gatwick received a fair share of inclusive tour weekend charters from Scandinavia. Air West bought this 1967 Twin Otter from the Jamaican Defence Force (JDF T-1) in May 1977. Pictured after roll out in the new Air BC colors, this aircraft has been put back on floats soon after the paint has dried. The aircraft was sold to Kenn Borek Air in 1988 and has had many leases to Harbour Air and Maldivian Air Taxi over the years. Kenn Borek changed the registration to C-GTKB in 1996.

This strategic Fort Saint John airport location was opened 1943, built by the US Army in conjunction with the Alaska Highway. At the cross roads for Canadian Pacific Airlines / CP Air flights in BC, Alberta and the Yukon, three 737s (from right to left - C-FCPB, C-GCPM and C-FCPE) are pictured in front of the airport's old control tower. Replaced by the newly built tower and now empty, it would later be pulled down and carted away.
