Pacific Western Airlines leased two 737s from Monarch Airlines every summer. Canadian Airlines carried this on for another 2 years after the merger.

Delivered July 9, 1969 and leased to Nordair for six months as CF-NAP. After returning in December, this 737 spent the rest if it's career with United; the last revenue flight occurring on June 5, 1998. The nose section is preserved in the Hiller Aviation Museum, San Carlos, CA.

Originally USAF 56-277 and taken on strength with the RCAF February 25, 1971. Photographed here taxiing out for a flight test after overhaul by Bristol Aerospace - it's very unusual to see the Voodoo without squadron markings or a navigator in the back seat. Was used as an instructional airframe serialed 835B from January 1985 until August 1990 and struck off strength October 18, 1990.

This 727 was delivered to Braniff International March 1, 1967 and sold to UPS in October 1981. Re-registered N902UP November 1982, upgraded with RR Tay engines in November 1993 and finally stored April 2002.

This Beaver was built as a standard piston engine DHC-2 in 1959. After several accidents in the 1980s, Viking Air bought the aircraft. Viking, who own the type certificates of all De Havilland Canada aircraft except the Dash 8, converted it to a turbo Beaver during 1993 - 1996. Bought by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in 2006, it was painted in these retro colors for the 70th anniversary of the RCMP Air Division in 2007. It was sold in 2016.

A very early 737 delivered new to Air California July 10, 1968. This was their final colors before being bought by and merged into American Airlines.

This Dash 8 was delivered to the IMP Group for their airline Air Atlantic on August 10 1989. Although Air Atlantic ceased flying in October 1998, the aircraft remaning registered to IMP until sold to Hawkair Aviation in British Columbia November 19, 2001. In March 2010, Hawkair was purchased by the parent company of Central Mountain Air and operated under a Capacity Purchase Agreement for CMA. Unfortunately on November 18, 2016, Hawkair declared bankruptcy and their assets were sold. This Dash-8 was bought by Central Mountain Air and registered to them February 22, 2017.

One of NWT's all cargo Electra's flying across Canada. This one was originally delivered to KLM (PH-LLD) on October 10, 1959. Converted to a freighter in 1968, it flew for Universal Airlines (N852U), Saturn and Trans International/Transamerica airlines before coming to Canada June 1983. Sold in September 1986, the freighter flew mail with Falcon Aviation (SE-IVS) before going to Hunting Cargo (EI-CHW) May 1993. Withdrawn in 1996 and used for parts, it was broken up August 1998.

Delivered to International Lease Finance Corp June 8, 1978, this 737 had many leases. Far Eastern Air Transport was first, then starting December 31, 1980, it rolled through Nordair, CP Air, Canadian Airlines until September 1991. Cayman Airways, LAPSA, Varig, Pluna and Bayu Indonesia followed until the Indonesian Air Force bought the 737 for VIP transport in October 2004.

Just delivered on September 18, 1980, Big Sky would have to return this Metro after declaring bankruptcy in 1988. They would recover and eventually would have operated 26 Metros before shutting down in 2007.

Originally 44-74977, this P-51 went on the civil registry as N5488V in 1960 and was used for fire tanker support in Alaska. Damaged in gear up landing in June 1966, the Mustang was repaired but suffered another landing accident in 1999. Rebuilt again and flown as N251CS "Charlotte's Chariot II" in 2010.

First delivered to Laker Airways February 27, 1979, this DC-10 was repossessed when Laker ceased flying in February 1982. Leased to British Caledonian the same month, there would be airline charter name changes to Cal Air International and Novair International Airways when Caledonian merged with British Airways in 1988. Repossessed again when Novair ceased flying in 1990. Sold to IFLC in 1992, the it was converted to a freighter and leased to FedEx in 1994. Registered N10060, FedEx bought the aircraft in 1996 and upgraded it to a MD-10-10F in 2008. It's still current at the time of uploading.

This former Southwest Airlines 737 was bought by Royal Aviation March 6, 2001, shortly after their take over by Canada 3000. Unfortunately, after the temporary cessation of all airline traffic after the September 2001 World Trade Center attack and subsequent downturn in bookings, Canada 3000 did not have enough cash on hand to survive and declared bankruptcy November 8, 2001. This aircraft ended it's days with Avior Airlines as YV-1576. It was withdrawn and stored at Barcelona, Venezuela in August 2013.

Delivered new to Air Canada February 1974 and went to Mojave for storage in 2001. Sold to Trans African October 2003.

Delivered to Air Canada April 7, 1970, this stretch 8 was withdrawn by the airline in April 1983 and stored at Marana, AZ. Later converted to a freighter and returned to service until sold to Evergreen International (N819EV) in 1988.
