This ILFC owned 737 was leased to Far Eastern Air Transport (B-2611) and Nordair before coming Canadian Airlines in 1987. It's pictured ready to return to the lessor with the registration taped inside the last five windows. Not an exciting photo, but still the end of a chapter in the aircraft's history. There were many other chapters in South America and Indonesia. Last with the Indonesian Air Force (AI-7034), the aircraft over ran the runway landing at Timika Mozes Kilangin Airport (WAAY/TIM) on April 17, 2023 collapsing the nose gear. It remains stored at TIM at the time of uploading.

Registered as N977MP before delivery to Far Eastern Air Transport as B-2611 in 1978. To Nordair as C-GNDS in 1980 who merged into Canadian Pacific Air Lines then Canadian Airlines International in 1987. To Cayman Airways as VR-CNN in 1991, LAPSA as ZP-CAC in 1995, Varig as PP-VPD in 1996, Pluna as CX-FAT in 1998, Bayu Indonesia Air as PK-BYD in 2002 and the Indonesian Air Force as AI-7304 in 2004. Badly damaged in an accident at Timika in 2023.

Nordair leased this 737 on December 31, 1980. Registered to Canadian Pacific Airlines and Canadian Airlines after mergers, the aircraft was returned to ILFC August 29, 1991.

Delivered to International Lease Finance Corp June 8, 1978, this 737 had many leases. Far Eastern Air Transport was first, then starting December 31, 1980, it rolled through Nordair, CP Air, Canadian Airlines until September 1991. Cayman Airways, LAPSA, Varig, Pluna and Bayu Indonesia followed until the Indonesian Air Force bought the 737 for VIP transport in October 2004.
