Rebuilt to fly in Canada by Bob Diemert, CF-SMI, imported to UK for use in the film "The Battle of Britain". Dreadful handling qualities due to incorrect airfoil section used on ailerons - note no ailerons fitted in this photo. Dick Richardson borrowed a set from Z7015 and after air-testing by Duncan Simpson had a new pair manufactured. Problem solved. Aircraft destroyed in Canadian Warplane Heritage hangar fire on 15 February 1993.

To compliment my photo at #21741 (by which time the aircraft had been named 'Aline'), here early in TEA's ownership at its home base with an interesting set of background items - TWA 707, Belgian AF C-130H, C-47 and DC-6, Delta Air Transport 440 and their sole 720, OO-VGM still in basic United colours.

Another of the ex-United SE.210s, first registered N1015U and bought by Transavia in November 1970. Leased to Air Afrique for summer 1994, it is seen here in primer before being painted white overall with Transavia titles for return to service. In April 1976 it went to the République du Tchad as TT-AAM. After damage and expiry of CoA in May 1980, it was abandoned at N'Djamena, the airframe later being used as a restaurant till burned out at the end of 2001
