Several of Universal's Argosy aircraft were parked at Willow Run

Operated by the Hydro-Electric Power Commission of Ontario. In 1974 the company became a crown corporation and was officially named Ontario Hydro (which had been the commission's nickname).

from my collection, photographer unknown, built in 1944 the Skymaster was in service for the US Army Air Forces and the US Navy before civil operations started in May 1947 for Colonial Airlines as N93267, merged into Eastern Airlines in 1956, but sold on to PSA and in operation for them until April 1962 when it was purchased by Mercer Enterprises. To Canadian Arctic Co.-Op. in Dec 1969 and operated furtheron for Air Commonwealth as CF-QIX, later C-FQIX, damaged and w/o after a take-off accident at Thompson, Manitoba in June 1979, whilst operating for Aero Trades Western. Location is a guess.

Registered N123H while owned by International Harvester Co 1957 - 59, this Beech E18S was registered CF-LPC when transferred to International Harvester Co of Canada on April 5, 1959 . Bought by Carl Millard in April 1966, the aircraft suffered an engine fire while starting on January 19, 1974. Bought "as is" by Gilley Airways 10 days later, it was repaired enough for ferry to the USA as N81GA in June . Sold to K & K Aircraft in October 1974, it was probably used for parts as the aircraft's Certificate of Airworthiness was not renewed after 1974.

Crashed at Cecil Plains, Queensland on December 23, 2003.

VH-CTL was new at the time of the photo and being used as a promotion.

Visitor for the Farnborough Airshow. Registered as G-ANPV in 1956. To VH-CLX in 1971 and converted to a Riley Heron in 1972. Donated to the Moorabbin Air Museum in 2001.
