Seen here on Friday, the first of the three public day's of the Farnborough Airshow. On Sunday she crashed while being flown by Ian Williamson who was injuried, but made a full recovery. Can now be seen fully restored (how did they do that!) at the RAF Museum Hendon.
Registered as G-BLGJ prior to delivery to LIAT as V2-LCQ in 1984. To Dellair Trading as C-GBCN in 1997 and Bengal Air Services as VT-BAA in 1998. Withdrawn from use at Calcutta by 2006. Still there in 2013.
Company demonstrator aircraft. First flew in 1976. Hawker Siddeley merged into British Aerospace in 1977. Leased to Bahamas Airways as C6-BEA and then Air Madagascar as 5R-MJS in 1979. Returned as G-BDVH in 1980. To the Sri Lanka Air Force as CR832 in 1986. Reserialled as CR833 in 1990. Preserved in Sri Lanka from 2005.
