The external condition was poor so it was decided to paint it in 'non-authentic' primer to make it more presentable. It is now in the refurbished Grade II listed WWII (1940) Bellman hangar as part of the 'Aircraft Factory' exhibition which was opened by Prince Michael of Kent 13 November 2017.
