Leased to MMA (Western Australia) April to Sept 1968. WFU December 1968. Prepared for sale to Pan Indonesian painted in a blue paint scheme, but the sale did not eventuate. Ex Britannia Airways G-BNCW, registered 19th May 1996 and withdrawn from use KMHV (Mojave) 22nd June 2002. Returned to lessor as N807AN 27th June 2002, scrapped

Scrapped in 1976 after eight years parked at Melbourne's Essendon airport.

Why this aircraft was re-painted in the all blue livery is a mystery to me, but at lease it's still in a complete state prior to becoming a airframe for use by trainee engineers.

Ready for push-back on the old Eagle Farm tarmac.

VH-RMO was sold in the US as N245FE in August 1989.

Delivered new to Butler Air Transport in September 1955 as VH-BAT. Merged into Ansett in September 1958 and re-registered VH-RMO in May 1963. Retired in 1968 and broken up in 1976.

VH-RMO Was first flown at Seattle on January 2 1980. and entered the Australian Register as VH-RMO January 14 1980. It was cancelled from the Australian Register August 17 1989. and registered in the USA N245FE and converted to a freighter. Scrapped at Victorville USA.

To Federal Express in 1989 as N245FE

Ex VH-BAT, VH-RMO was withdrawn from use at Essendon/YMEN in 1970 and scrapped six years later.
