Built 1965 and used for Automatic Landing development before deliverd to BOAC in June 1967. Merged into British Airways in April 1974 and repainted during the first year. Wfu by BA in 1981 and sold to RAF for K4 Tanker conversion as ZD235. Wfu at St Athan 2002 and broken up 2004. This is not my photo, it belongs to my friend Nils Edvin Johansen who have asked me to scan and share the photo. What a joy it was as G-ASGG came on the BA643 flight from LHR this summer day. It made a lowpass along rwy 24 before landing, and is photographed while taxing out for departure back to LHR as BA644

An IL-76M is seen on final apporach to rwy 24 at Fornebu in June 1987. Aeroflot operated also for the Soviet Air Force, with civil regisration, so hard to tell if they had civil or military reaons to come. From the Collection of Fornebu Historical Society, BAC flew One-Eleven EI-ANH to Fornebu for presentation to Braathens SAFE which were evaluating Jet airliners to replace their DC-6B fleet. EI-ANH was delivered to Aer Lingus in September 1965, repainted in 1975 and passed on to 5N-HTB in July 1991, later broken up. Photo shot by Leif Høel for Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet.

From the collection of the Fornebu Historic Society. The only Aeroflot flight with a Tu-104 that has been identified, seen taxing after arriving on the new main runway at FBU. This was taken more than six years before Aeroflot started a weekly schedule SU211 from Moscow via Stockholm-Arlanda with Tu-134s.
