Since April 2015 is it stored without engines at Baku.
Written off after a forced landing which occured on December 30th 2004. The aircraft was coming from Kabul (Afghanistan) where the left gear was completely destroyed during a missed landing in very poor weather conditions. Fortunately no casualties among the 8 crew members. The aircraft has been scrapped later.
The days when IL-76s were still welcome to Maastricht. They were eventually banned by the airport because of damage some caused to the roofs of local residences with their long take-offs and shallow climbs by some operators!
