On December 23rd 1972, LN-SUY was written of in a fatal accident on approach to FBU on a delayed shceduled flight from Aalesund due to fog, when it crashed in the woods close to Asker.

Wfu by BA in 1981 and sold to RAF for K4 Tanker conversion as ZD235. Wfu at St Athan 2002 and broken up 2004. This is not my photo, it belongs to my friend Nils Edvin Johansen who have asked me to scan and share the photo. What a joy it was as G-ASGG came on the BA643 flight from LHR this summer day. September 1983 OY-KTF was repainted to the new Scanair colours as seen on this photo. Wfu 29.December 1988 and sold as N792AL and converted to freighter. In January 1970 prepared for lease, 29 January 1970 HS-TGM for THAI. 1 October 1970 returend to SAS as OY-KGG. 21 November 1974 leased to Swissair as HB-IDY, and returned as OY-KGG with SAS 26 September 1975. Repainted to new SAS colours in 1985. 10 May 1991 N762NW for Northwest Airlines, and in October transferred to Delta Air Lines, in NW colours. Wfu at Sanford 3 January 2011 and broken up.
