When photographed the aircraft was stored in the Basler back lot awaiting BT-67 conversion. In 2017 it emerged from Basler's hangars as BT-67 Turbo-67 c/n 64 N167BT but was later re-registered N131PR. On 21st December 2023 it came back on the Canadian register as C-FDXQ for ALCI Aviation, and was recently tracked flying out of Troll Research Station in Antarctica.

Crashed at Daly Waters, Northern Territory, on October 26, 1956. All on board survived but the aircraft was destroyed in the ensuing fire.

Ex USAAF 42-92247, RAF FL615, RCAF FL615 and CF-TDO. Registered in South Africa since August 1963. Being operated by Oriole Express. More recently, after 13 years of storage at Rand, the aircraft was flown to Wonderboom in January 2010 and is believed to remain in storage there at time of upload.

From 35 Sqn based at Ysterplaat. Withdrawn and stored at Snake Valley by 1999.

Perth based Travair owned VH-SBL. It is being used here as a prop for a movie, TV show or advertisement seeking to emulate an Australian National Airways DC-3 from the 1950s.

Delivered to the USAAF as 42-68819. Post-war conversion to DC-3A and to Svenska Kyrkans Missionsstyrelse as SE-APG Feb 1946 for missionary flights, later Nordiskt Missionsflyg. To AB Aerotransport July 19848, SAS from July 1949. To SNCSAO as F-BEIS January 1951, to French Air Force as 68819, to Brabier as F-BRGI November 1972, to Yugoslav Air Force as 71237, to YU-ABW November 1979. Then it gets interesting. Sold to Atlas Aircraft in Miami, FL as N8071Z and stored at Riem. In March 1981 she was registered 9Q-CYI and flown to South Africa bypassing the UN embargo on the country and given the SAAF serial 6875. This is the second 6875, the first was written off in 1964. Originally TC-47B-35-DK s/n 44-76884, then to USN (R4D-7) BuNo99838; in the process of being restored as C-47 "42-100558" in full D-Day markings.

Former USAF 42-100931 flew paratroopers for the D-Day Invasion June 5 / 6 , 1944. The aircraft few in Canada as CF-JUV / C-FJUV 1957 - 89. It's pictured untitled flying with North Cariboo Flying Service. Sold in the USA in 1989 as N394CA (later N1944M), the aircraft is presently displayed in American Airlines colors as NC16005 Flagship Orange County in the Lyon Air Museum at John Wayne Airport at the time of uploading.

Westralian Aerial Surveys was a subsidiary of Adastra Aerial Surveys. VH-AGU at this time had received a Dopper radome and modifications for high-altitude survey work.
