Seen looking very smart soon after its arrival from South Africa for operation by Indigo Aviation. The company which also owned another DC3 5H-DAK, had plans to operate both scheduled flights and hunting charters within Tanzania but the Tanzanian CAA had other ideas and the company had its operating license withdrawn in July 2010. ZS-LVR did make it onto the Tanzanian register as 5H-LVR but never entered service. It was flown to Dar es Salaam in 2011 and has remained grounded there, still present in May 2021

Seen while operating for National Air Charter. Damaged in a fire in 1998 while someone was trying to steal AVGAS it was repaired and sold to Nelair Charters of Nelspruit in 2001. Bought by Skyclass Aviation in 2008 and Indigo Aviation of Tanzania in 2010. Indigo had their license withdrawn in July 2010 and the aircraft made its final flight from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam in 2011. It was still present beside the airport fire station in May 2021

Delivered to the USAAF as 43-16009 in 1944. Registered as N4766C in 1953 later N950 and N5000C. To Aero Service as N5000E in 1966 then to Starflite Corp in 1989. To ZS-LVR in 1990 and 5H-LVR in 2010. Withdrawn from at Dar-Es-Salaam in 2010. Air Africa is thought not to be a genuine airline.
