The RAAF's Macchi MB326 trainers were to be replaced by the A10 Wamira, an indigenous designed two-seat, side-by-side turboprop trainer. A prototype had already been built when the project was shelved in favor of the Pilatus PC-9, having been designed in the early 1980s. Before being purchased by the Moorabbin Aviation Museum in 2019 to expand their collection of Australian-designed and constructed aircraft, the prototype was kept for many years at the RAAF Museum, Point Cook.

Awaiting scrapping. RH Grant Trading set up a smelter at Tocumwal after World War II to melt down war surplus aircraft that had no civil application. As a former B-24 training base, Tocumwal could handle the largest aircraft in service with the RAAF. The smelter remained in operation until 1963 with Vampires and Meteors the final aircraft to be put through it. By then Tocumwal had become a civil airport. The nose door marked 793 on the photo of A77-31 is from A77-793 also scrapped at Tocumwal.

Retired in June 1971. Fuselage used for heat radiation tests resulting it being declared a write-off. Passed through several civilian owners in Australia and New Zealand and at one time was displayed at Chino's Planes of Fame museum in fake USAF markings. At time of upload, it was being held in storage by the Australian War Museum. Post service, A94-954 was fitted with another rear fuselage. The original rear fuselage was fitted to A94-923. This aircraft went to a museum in Prague.

The first Australian built DH84. Became VH-ASK after World War II ended. At the time of upload, this aircraft was on display at the Museum of Flight, East Fortune, Scotland in its final Australian registration VH-SNB. A quirk in Australian DH84 production is that A34-12 c/n 2001 was built after A34-13. Originally, A34-12 had been set aside for an impressed aircraft. When this did not eventuate, a later production aircraft filled the gap. Photo preserved by John Hopton as part of his collection.
