ADF serials have in their comments that this may be a FB-30. And that makes it A79-375. This link http://www.adf-serials.com.au/2a79.htm explains the situation. This aircraft is an instructional airframe numbered 17 at the RAAF School of Technical Training, based in NSW at RAAF Forest Hill.

The actual identity of this aircraft was called into question because A79-375 was an FB.30 and should have rounded wingtips. It is believed the fuselage is actually A79-733 which was an FB.31 with clipped wings. However parts from other aircraft may have been used to make up a complete aircraft including parts from A79-375.
