January/68: Converted as fire tanker. January/69: Flew to Hawaii for use in the movie Tora, Tora, Tora. July/86: Yankee Air Force, Willow Run, MI. 1986 to by 1995: Restored.

It arrived at Antwerp Airport (Belgium) at the end of Apr 1974 in Hilair livery, after being acquired by Delta Air Transport (possibly as a source for spares). The following month it was damaged in a ground collision when it was hit by an SIAI Marchetti SF.260. At some point it was transported to a children's play area at Bokrijk, Genk, Belgium. Since broken up. Looking at the kids' antics, Health and Safety was obviously not an issue in those days!

This F-13 is one of a batch of seven seized as war reparations. On display in the Inter-war Years Hall at this super museum.

Acquired Mar 1974 ex Transmeridian Air Cargo. The UK registration G-ATZI could still be seen under the wing. It flew with a string of operators for many years more until it made an emergency landing in a jungle clearing soon after take-off at Mbuji-Mayi (Kinshasa Congo) 17 Feb 2002. operating as 9Q-CTS.

Reportedly broken up circa Sep 1985.

This airframe is actually a composite of parts from six aircraft. Many sections and parts are also being scratch-built using original blueprints. Airframe is identified as 44-83722 since that plane supplied the bulk of the parts, but they are adopting another parts bird, 44-85813, as their s/n. Other aircraft used are: 44-83316, 44-83525, 44-85505, 44-85734.

Air Resorts Airlines was the final operator of this 1956-built Convair 440. The aircraft was retired at their base at Carlsbad CA and eventually broken up in the mid 90ies.

This C-46F once flew with the Flying Tiger Line, when seen in 1992 it had been restored to their livery, but with TAVIC titles
