First flown in November 1954 as N8453H and delivered to the USAF as 54-2820 in February 1955. Stored as Davis Monthan in February 1998, registered briefly as N43895 in July 1992 before onward sale, the same month, to Bolivia. Leased briefly to Caribbean Flights of Venezuela as YV-914C from July 1996 to June 1997. Sold to Rovos Air as ZS-ARV in August 2001 and flew with them until they ceased operations in 2009. Acquired by HARS in 2015, ferried to Australia in August 2016 and registered as VH-TAA in November 2016

According to online sources, this C-46 was scrapped by Northeast Bolivian Airways in the 1980s.

Something of a tourist attraction in Santa Cruz, even having its own Wikepedia page, the Avión Pirata as the Connie is known, has been in Bolivia since being forced to land El Trompillo airport in 1961 by the Bolivian Air Force, suspected smuggling contraband such as cigarettes, textiles and whiskey. Placed in its current location in 1979 the aircraft has subsequently been used as a library, a bank and a travel agency. Later painted in Pepsi colours, it also spent several years in the colours of local airline Aerosur.

Delivered new to Eastern Airlines as N9308 in May 1957. Registered in Bolivia to San Fransisco Servicios Aereos in July 1974 and bought by Cochabamba based North East Bolivian Airways in 1978. The airline was re-launched with US investment in 2003 to operate L1011 Tristars on charter operations and the redundant Convair was sold in Denmark with a plan to restore and preserve the aircraft at Copenhagen airport. The aircraft was ferried to Billund in August 2004 and registered OY-CVR but the project was cancelled and the aircraft scrapped at Billund in November 2006.

One of a pair of ex USAF Convairs operated by Lineas Aereas Canedo between 1992 and 1997 when both were sold to Rovos Air in South Africa. In 2018 the aircraft was sold and prepared for delivery to the Aviodrome in Holland but crashed on its first check flight on 10th July 2018 prior to delivery.
