As crude as it can look, the F13 was years ahead of the aviation industry in the aftermath of WW1, with its all-metal construction, its enclosed passenger cabin and its low cantilever wing. This one is part of a batch of seven seized by the French authorities as a war compensation.

This F-13 is one of a batch of seven seized as war reparations. On display in the Inter-war Years Hall at this super museum.

This F13 has English-language instruments and was intended for John Larsen Aircraft in the USA as a JL-6, but seized by the Allied Control Commission in Germany and given to France in early 1921. It was already listed in the Musée de l'Air catalogue of 1922-23. Construction number 609 is apparently confirmed on an airframe part and it is not c/n 600 which was put to use in Belgium as a racing pigeon transport.
