17 Jan '45: TOS USAAF as B-25J and assigned to the Air Technical Service Center, Brookley Field, AL. 4/45: Place in storage with several units. 10/51: Converted to TB-25J. 5/53: Upgraded TB-25L. 6/53: Converted it to TB-25M radar trainer. 4/55: Wright Air Development Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH; converted to ETB-25M. 3/56: Redesignated JTB-25M. 9/59: SOC and ferried to the SAC Museum, Offutt AFB, NE. By 1994: Painted it in bogus desert camouflage scheme and named "Desert Doom" with a skull and crossbones painted on the nose. 1997: Trucked to new museum facility in Ashland, NE.

Dumped in Chiloquin near the OR-62 Crater Lake Highway in Oregon, USA

Initialy delivered to RCAF as RCAF9767 in March 1943 and allocated to 162 Squadron, Sank U-Boote U-342, Apr. 17, 1944 off Iceland. Became later civilian as CF-CRR....A real piece of history!

Previously on display at the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum (MLM), transferred to the Nationaal Militair Museum (NMM) in 2014.

K25 slide scan. Accepted 1959 as 147948 by USN, retired to MASDC 1975, struck of charge 1978. Civilianized as N80232 for Central Air Service 1989, apparently never used and stored at Avra Valley, cancelled 2018, still present 2022. Sporadically being worked on, tip tanks fitted past 2011 but did not move.

A ground instructional airframe with 2 SoTT from 1975 until scrapped in 1988, this Argosy, lacking its propellors, looks rather forlorn on a rainy day at Cosford's 1987 Open Day.

from my collection, photographer unknown, the DC-6 was delivered to United Air Lines in 1956 and operated with them until late 1966, purchased by Fred Olsen Air Transport and operated for SAS Cargo as LN-FOL. Took part in the Biafran airlift for Joint Church Aid between 11/69 and 2/70. Sold to Iscargo as TF-IUB in 1974 and wfu and b/u in 1980, nose section kept being preserved by the Icelandic Aviation Historical Society Akureyri

A rare display outing for the Dragon. On loan to the Historic Aircraft Museum and participating in the Grand Air Display. Sold in the Phillips Auction of the Historic Aircraft Museum contents on 10th May 1983 for £23,000 and moved to the Science Museum Collection at Wroughton where it still resides in 2022.

from my collection, photographer unknown, aircraft was delivered new to Western Airlines in May 1956 as N93112, sold to Slick Airway in mid-1961, in service for Zantop Air Transport from 12/65 until 9/66. With Universal Airlines until 1/70. Sold to Span East Airlines as N614SE, lsd. to Ecuatoriana as HC-AVR in 1971. W/o in Biscayne Bay FL 25/10/73 on a cargo flight for Span East.
