LN-FOI was the last of the three Electras to be repainted late 1986, but I did not see it before this day in february 1988, arrived in the morning and parked at the Cargo terminalall day until teh evening when it took off again. LN-FOI kept these colours until wfu at Fornebu in 1997, as Fred Olsen shut down the airlines started in 1946, becuse he would not invest in new buildings at ENGM/OSL which was to open October 8th 1998, and the fleet of L-188 Electra was nearing their livit of flhying, while the 727F and the 737f took over.

Delivered new 9th ferbruary 1961 as L-188A Electra N9646C for Western Airlines.. 1969 converted to L-188A(F) freighter, still for Western. August 18th 1972 LN-MOI Nordic Air. LN-MOI bought by Fred. Olsen August 20th 1973, an rr to LN-FOH August 28th 1973. Op. by FOF in ex Nordic colours until repainted to FOF colours scenod half of 1974. Repainted to these new white FOF colours in 1985. March 1988 it was painted black for the "Air de Cologne" project by SAS Cargo.. FOF colours 1990, flew with TNT stickers in 1991, FOF cs until wfu 01-1997. OE-ILA 03-1998, C-GLBA 07-2007. 60 years of flying-

First flight 1961, delivered to Western Airlines February 15th 1961 as L-188A N9745C. Converted to freighter L-188A(F) in 1969, March 30th 1971 CF-IJC, August 1971 N9745C Western returned. August 17th 1972 LN-MOD Nordic Air. November 1973 LN-FOG Fred Olsen. 1990 flew with TNT stickers, Rest of 90s FOF flew for DHL, and LN-FOg had three very thin red lines on fuselage. wfu 1997. May 1st 1997 G-LOFD Atlantic Cargo, renamed Atlantic Airlines in 1998. February 12th 2010 C-FYYJ Conair Aviation. May 2023 C-FYYJ Buffalo Airways, wfu after 60 years of flying. First flight 14 October 1959 as a L-188C with reg M9724C, and delivered new as ZK-NEA to TEAL Tasman Empire Airways . In January ZK-TEA transferred to Air New Zealand, named "Aotearoa". N31231 27 May 1972 for flamingo Air Lines. Converted to freighter in December 1972, and bought by FOF as LN-FOI 11th September 1973, op cargo flights for SAS and other carrieres. Seen parked outside the new Freightt terminal built in 1980, as the last of Fred Olsens three original Electras to be repainted in 1986. Moved to Coventry in January 1998, and it never flew again.
