Landing at Mildenhall while temporarily based during runway resurfacing at nearby Lakenheath, this 492nd TFS/48th TFW 'Sled' last served the 131st TFW at St Louis before entering MASDC in December 1975. It escaped in June 1983 when moved to Litchfield Park for conversion by Sperry Systems and return to service as a QF-100D target drone.

slide scan from the NK collection. - BCAirlines and Pacific Western used this Nord 262 as CF-BCS for a short time before they put it into storage at Marana. It was sold to Ransome and flew for Allegheny Commuter afterwards. The small turboprop ended its days as S9-NAX at Sao Tome; it was last seen there in 1999, ready for scrap.

First flight for this Islander was on November 30, 1970 with test registration G-51-241. Destined to become CF-QPM for Air Halifax in Canada, the aircraft had an extended delivery flight when Britten-Norman entered it in the 1971 London to Victoria Air Race. Pictured at a stop in Ottawa, the Canadian registration taped over and marked G-AZAX with race number 54, it flew back across Canada for delivery. Sold to Harbor Airlines as N67HA in January 1977, it would move to Slocum Air by 1981. Registered to Nassau based MD Air Services in 1984 where is was written off after overrunning the runway.

Ex G-18-203, registered G-APAU to the manufacturer -9 April 1957 to -1 July 1961. To Air Charter Ltd 26 July 1961, transferred to British United Air Ferries (later British Air Ferries) 13 April 1965 to -2 March 1971. To Midland Air Cargo 14 April 1971 to 28 September 1971. WFU at Lasham in 1973 and scrapped there in May 1975. Cancelled -5 December 1977 as PWFU.
