VH-KEN switched to P2-KEN on Papua New Guinea's independence. It came and went a few times from the Australian register, the last time in 1978. In 2003 it was restored to the Australian register as VH-JAW.
General Motors operated a fleet of CV580s. This aircraft was built for the Navy as an R4Y-2T, BuNo 145967, and stored when the contract was cancelled. Purchased and converted to a 580 by GM, and flown by them until 1996. Later regns include N5126, C-GTTG and N991FL. Seen here in an early livery.
