On display at the Museum of Flight. This aircraft was built as a L-1049C and delivered to Trans-Canada Airlines (TCA) in May 1954. It was converted to a 1049E, then to a 1049G around 1958. Most successful of the Constellation models, the Super-G was fitted with optional 609 gal wingtip tanks that increased range by 700 miles. The lengthened nose featured a weather radar. After TCA, the aircraft went to World Wide Airways (WWA) in 1965, which stopped flying the same year. It was stripped of parts and sold, used as a cocktail bar and restaurant before it was bought by MoF in 2005.

CF-CMS was a British-built Lancaster bomber that was converted by Victory Aircraft in Canada to a transport for Trans-Canada Air Lines. It entered service as a transatlantic freighter in July 1943. Passenger approval was granted in 1944. CF-CMS crashed and burned at Dorval on June 1, 1945 while trialling Rolls Royce Merlin 85s in Avro Lincoln cowlings. The fuselage of this beautiful aircraft was unceremoniously dumped on the ground after only 11,500 hours total time - another victim of the jet age.
