Aircraft suffered serious damage in a June 1997 landing accident at Warrenton-Fauquier Airport (KHWY) in Virginia. It was repaired and I believe it is still airworthy with the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum.

This was one of the last TB-25N training aircraft retired from the USAF in 1958. Sold surplus, and assigned FAA registration N2854G. Flown to Brainerd, Minnesota, where it was on display at the Paul Bunyan Amusement Park from 1958-2000. It was then restored and has been on display at the National World War II Museum since 2010.

A true relic that had to have its space in this aeronautical museum. A B-25 Mitchell painted in the colors of the "Apache Princess" resting for years in the museum at the Mariscal Sucre air base. It was seized by Ecuadorian authorities in Guayaquil in 1965 for carrying contraband cargo. In 1978 the Ecuadorian Air Force took it to Quito to be exhibited in this museum, initially wearing fictitious FAE colors and fictitious registration B-N9069Z. In October 2011 this design was added imitating the "Apache Princess". Ex- USAF (44-86866).

44-28866 was modified off the production line as a TB-25 and remained in the USA for crew training.. Later it was used as a utility transport with the USAF until struck off strength in 1957. Registered N5277V in 1958, the aircraft went on lease in Canada during 1960 and was converted to a fire bomber. In 1964, it was purchased and registered CF-OND, continuing to work fighting fires.
