Marked as 98 Squadron/2nd Tactical Air Force, RAF, VO-D, HD372.

Constructed as a B-25J-35-NC by North American at Kansas City in August 1945 and allocated 45-8883 but not taken up by USAAF. Sold as N(L)75755 in 1946 and kept N number until acquired by the CWH in 1976 and painted as HD372 of 98 Sqdn.

Registered to the USAAF as 45-8883, but not actually taken up. To various civil owners from September 1946 as N75755. Involved in an accident on Aiugust 16, 1965 when the aircraft experienced an explosion/fire during the inital climb. The aircraft collided with trees while on final approach to land at a seaplane base/heliport. Between 1973 and 1975, the aircraft was withdrawn from use and placed in open storage. To the Canadian Warplane Heritage between 1975 and 1976 and reregistered C-GCWA. To C-GCWM in June 1976. The markings seen in this photo were applied somewhere between May 2006

This B-25 was assembled in Kansas City in early 1945 but never saw military service. It was operated as a civilian transport for over 25 years and then left abandoned at Wilmington Airport, Delaware. The aircraft was beautifully restored by the CWHM to wear the markings of 'Hot Gen', a B-25J of RAF No. 98 Squadron that fought over North West Europe during 1944-45.

This B-25 was built as 45-8883 but delivered directly to the Reconstruction Finance Corp for storage and later sale. It became N75755 and flew as a corporate transport until stored in Wilmington, DL in 1973. Acquired by Canadian Warplane Heritage in 1975, it's been flying with them for over 40 years.
