Former USAF B-25J serial 44-86724 was transferred to Training Command at RCAF Station Trenton, ON in August 1951. Stored at RCAF Station Lincoln Park, AB in March 1961 for disposal, the bomber was sold to Avaco Services and registered CF-NTU. Ferried to Kamloops, BC in 1962 and stored outside, it became derelict. The Canadian Forces for retrieved the aircraft in 1974 and restored it for display at CFB Winnipeg.

At one time this Mitchell was displayed at the nearby Reynolds museum but at the time of this photo it was the last aircraft left in their storage yard outside the edge of the airport. No idea of its fate.

Seen here stored in the museum's storage yard near the southeast end of the runway, about 1300 metres east of the museum main building. Ex RCAF 5237, but now in bare metal, no markings. Traces of "237" still visible on the nose. Had been here since at least 1990, and was still here by 2015, but gone by 2017.

This B-25 was originally built for the USAAF as 44-86699 but subsequently transferred to the RCAF. It currently resides in the Reserve Collection hangar at the Canada Aviation Museum.
