This aircraft was formerly E-425 of the Danish Airforce, painted in an RAE livery and the false serial XG190. It is seen here in the process of being dismantled as it had been disposed of to the Solway Aviation Museum

Ex G-ANAF it reportedly carried this US reg from Apr 87 to Jul 88. It had been destined for the Starflite Corporation in the USA. The company registered the aircraft but in the end the sale apparently didn't go through. It went to Atlantic Air Transport Ltd and reverted to G-ANAF.

Built for RAF as T5879. Sold as G-AXBW in 1969. Flies in military markings wearing the RUC-W code letters and badge on cowling of the Cambridge University Air Squadron.

Built for Swiss AF as J-1523. Sold in 1984 as G-VENI. Painted as the prototype British-built Venom FB.1 VV612 and flight demonstrated at the 2000 Coventry show.

Remanufactured by Beech from T-7 42-2490 c/n 4166 to C-45G 51-11701 for the USAF in 1952. Modified to a C-45H in 1957. To N9541Z in 1963, G-BSZC in 1990 and OK-BSC in 2016.

Venture Airways provided an all First Class service linking Coventry with Paris CDG. The aircraft had F class seats in a 1-2 configuration. Small world that it was, one of the Venture Airways company executives lived next door to my parents. Shortly after they commenced operations he invited me to sample their service. This photo was taken early morning prior to my departure to Paris CDG. It was a wonderful experience, but sadly Venture Airways' existence was short-lived as they could not compete with the multi-frequency options offered by established airlines from nearby Birmingham Airport.

With added decals 'Viscount 708 powered by Rolls Royce' next to the forward and rear doors, probably as a reassurance to their mainly British clientele. To the best of my knowledge they were not displayed on the starboard side of the aircraft.

This ex-Air Inter machine was formerly a fire trainer at Scone in Scotland. It was stored dismantled at the Midland Air Museum at that time.
