No longer carrying its serial, but the Danish roundel is still on the fin. The SWWAPS Museum closed down not long after this photo was taken, in November 2009, and this Hunter had moved to Enstone for temporary storage by 2011. Later that year it was reportedly exported to Abu Dhabi.
Delivered new to Royal Danish AF as E-418 in 06.56. Sold to Hawkers as G-9-440 and to Brenchem as G-HUNT in 07.78. Later to N50972 and N611JR in 02.88 and marked 'WB188'. Owned by Brencham Historic Aircraft.
Beautifully restored in its original Royal Danish Air Force Eskadrille 724 markings. In the background is Concorde G-BBDG (c/n 202), which had arrived from Filton in June 2004 but hadn't been re-assembled yet.
