G-AMPO carried out the first service on 5th November 1972, from Southend to Amsterdam. The Dove arrived on 24th November 1972. The airline ceased flying in November 1974 by which time it had acquired 5 C-47s all of which were transferred to Humber Airways.

Negative from FNG archive. Delivered March 1937 to Alpar as HB-AME. Swissair 1947, reregistered HB-APE 1948. Motorfluggruppe Zürch 1955, offered for sale 1965. Registered D-IGUN 1969 and moved to Germany for rebuild. Acquired by Kurfiss Aviation 1974 and displayed at Frankfurt and Düsseldorf with periods in store. Sold 1994 and dismantled for spares in the rebuilding of D-ILIT at Lahr. Was operating an ambulance flight on above occasion.

It passed to the FAA as N244 in September 1962, re-registered N247 in September 1963 and then N28 in November 1963, N254 in 1966 and lastly to N94 in 1973. Restored to the USAF as 52-1096 in April 1977 but offered for sale and acquired by Time Aviation Services as N45786 in August that year. The last confirmed sighting at Tucson was in 1986 and thought scrapped around the time the registration was cancelled in July 1988.
