This 1947 Mallard had a turbine conversion by Frakes in 1972 before sold to West Coast Air Services in 1975. Merged into Air BC, this is another Mallard that left Canada for Australia in 1983. First with Air Whitsunday (VH-JAW), the aircraft is current with Paspaley Aviation, a division of the Paspaley Pearling Company, as VH-PPT at the time of uploading.

Delivered to Arabian American Oil in November 1952 as N728A, this Beaver was registered N7283 in 1972 for ADCO Airlines. Later operators included the Cyprus Services Parachute Club and Apalachicola International Training Centre. Acquired by Alaska Rainbow Lodge in 1999, It was re-registered N283AR in 2019.

This B-25J was delivered in 1944 as N5-234 (USAAF serial 44-29023) to the Netherlands East Indies Air Force at Batchelor airfield, near Darwin, Australia, from where it operated over Indonesia during Japanese occupation. After VJ Day, the aircraft moved to Palembang, Sumatra. It was later reserialled M-434 and is seen here carrying 18 Sqn markings which indicates that this picture was taken in 1949. In 1950, the aircraft was transferred to the Indonesian Air Force, retaining its serial. It is now preserved at the gate of Malang/Abdulrahman Saleh airfield. The excellent HAL Museum in Bangalore shows the history of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd, the Indian aircraft manufacturer. On display is the first Indian Air Force DH Dove with serial HW201. It was the first transport aircraft the Indian Air Force acquired post-independence. 22 aircraft served across six units from 1948 to 1987.

Under construction for CAAC. First flew 13 May 1976. Delivered to CAAC as B-278 19 June 1976, to PLAAF as 50158 1983, leased to China United June 1990. Withdrawn from use 1991 and to ground trainer Tianjin by September 1993. Reported as scrapped 1999.

Company "hack" on static display. Withdrawn from use at Hatfield in 1987. To the De Havilland Aircraft Heritage Centre at London Colney in 2000.

Nearing completion for CAAC. Delivered as B-268 22 August 1975, to PLAAF as 50059 December 1981, leased to China United June 1987. Withdrawn from use October 1992 and reported as stored at Beijing-Xi Jiao March 1996 and Taipinshi October 1998.

On display in the colours of the Spanish Air Force, this Catalina is actually ex US Navy 46596 and was never in use with the military in Spain.

Following recent efforts by volunteers to refurbish the aircraft and the area in which it is displayed, both have seen major improvements. The Viscount, which had suffered from many years of neglect, has been repainted in VASP colours. Although the aircraft still has some very dubious looking props, a couple of Rolls Royce Darts have been added to the display.

Thought to have been photographed at Burbank before delivery. Note that 'Linje' in LOT's name changed to 'Linie' in 1938 following a Polish spelling reform.

Previously found at Air Force Station Yelahanka, this Devon has found a new home with the VSM Aerospace AME College in Yelahanka town.
